Seriously, though--I'm searching for a Saizou plushie, but I can't find one anywhere even though I know they make them. If you stumble across one that's a reasonable price would you be able to grab it for me? And I'll pay you back? I need one if I'm going to cosplay Souji and right now my options are: Make it myself (...ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!) or Pay someone else to make it for me (which would probably be kinda expensive).
And yay for host family! That should make things even more interesting for you.
*grin* I'm keeping my eyes open... but I thought you had a saizou plushie...*scratches head*... there were quite a few at ACen, weren't there? *confused*
Possible solutions for the well known problem: a) send a box full of stuff (SAL, it's much safer & faster than shipping but still cheaper than air-mail; 9 kg cost around 12-13000 yen (last year)), b) try to find someone in Japan who might send you stuff from time to time, and then... c) go back next year! ^_~
