4 DAYS!

God, I'm so excited.

But...^^; There is much to be done before I can leave, which is why I haven't been around much. Sleep? Who needs sleep... :P

I've got the first presentation of the semester in about 3 hours, after nothing but scrambling to get the sources together over the last 2 weeks. Why is it that there's a TON of books at the library but those you really, really need are always gone? -.-"

Helped out with the scouts yesterday night (... I can never say no when they ask me... I just can't...^^;), went to my parents' after that and found a pleasant surprise there. ^_^ Since I'm gonna be in Japan on my birthday, they gave me my presents early.
*beams* I got a really soft red blanket (I've wanted one for so long!) and champagne glasses - 4 pieces, 2 with red stems and 2 with blue stems, so I have a matching pair for both my kitchen and my living room. XD XD My mom knows me so well. *loves her*

Also, I've had one of those dreams last night again. Yeah, one of those "he's gonna kiss me, he's gonna kiss me, he's gonna.... aw, CURSES, WHY am I waking up NOW?!"-dreams. Arrgh! *cough* I do think I should refrain from mentioning who "he" was this time, though, as some people on my flist might laugh so hard at me they might hurt themselves....^^;;;;

Anyway, off to uni now.

heh. Strange dreams again.

I'm always amused when I dream of people I've never seen before. The image in my subconscious has got to be SO wrong. XD Although, to be honest, I've dreamed of people before who I do know what they look like, but in my dream they still looked completely different. I just knew it was them, because... it was them. ^^;

So, last night's dream (I don't remember what it was about, unfortunately) featured

lavenderfrost and a bunch of nameless fandom people.... I do recall having fun, but that's about it. I wish I remembered. *pouts*

Also, something that's been on my mind for a while now is the length of ficcage and the definition thereof. What do you consider drabble, what ficlet, and what fic?

I've decided for myself (quite arbitrarily) that from ~900+ words I call it ficlet, from ~1800+ words fic. Anything less is a drabble. Since I don't write epics, I don't have to deal with the definition of that. :P

So, what about you?

How to make an American Quilt is definitely one of my favorite movies, ever. It has such a sweet and gentle feel to it, and the lighting is so very beautiful. So is the music. Watching it makes me feel good. ^_^

It feels like I'm dreaming a lot lately, but it's probably only because I wake up and actually /remember/ the dreams, or at least parts of them.

okaasan_59 and my brother. Huh. Odd combination. I have no idea what triggered it. I haven't met any of the lovely ladies in RL nor have I talked to them recently.

I also don't think my dream got the way they look quite right. *cough* But I /knew/ it was them, you know, in the way that you know things like that in dreams.
Unfortunately I don't remember much else about the dream. Just that we were down at the river side at one point, sitting on a couple of rocks and chatting. ^^; Don't ask me what my brother was doing in that merry round, either.

Dreams are just weird. Mine usually are, anyway. ^^; Hello, subconscious, how are you doing today?

how mean! I woke up from one of the most wonderful dreams I've had in a long time....before it was finished! A dream with Indiana Jones action and Wufei /starting/ to do naughty things to me... *pouts*
