I haven't been on a fandom spree for so long, I forgot how much fun it is. XD might as well make use of it as long as it lasts...

so, looking at some old entries, I also stumbled across a few posts in which I offered sentence fic, and it appears I was quite enjoying it. *grins*

therefore, I herewith offer to write sentence ficcage for you (1-5 sentences depending on what comes to mind....) if you give me a fandom, a pairing/characters, and a prompt (which can be a word or a line).

the only condition I'm setting is that I have to know the canon in full (if you're not sure, feel free to ask or give me an alternative in case I don't know the canon of your first choice). the exception to this rule are series that are still running. other than that... you know my boundaries, I think. ^_~

So, since I really should be doing other things.... I'm doing this instead (no, I haven't changed in the new year in that regard ... :P)

Yuletide was quite different for me this time around, (1) because I didn't have much information to work with (none at the beginning except for the fandom itself and only scarcely more after I went through the mods to get at least a tiny bit of an idea on how to approach this), (2) because my recipient hasn't replied so far, so I have no idea if she/he liked it or has even read it (yes, I admit I'm a quite sad about that after I went through all the trouble, even though I did enjoy writing it... ^^;), and (3) because I received not only one but TWO stories myself. How cool is that? ^____^

I wrote Sleeping Beauty, a Howl's Moving Castle fic (and over 4000 words, too, which is quite long for me ^^;).

I received my regular yuletide fic from lisan: This I promise You is a really cute Demon Diary fic with a touch of angst, in which Raenef V and Eclipse both struggle with how things changed as Raenef became a full demon lord, in which they both reach certain conclusions, in which they have an argument, in which there is mention of hair (yesyes, this made for a Very Happy haraamis :P), and in which the story ends happily with a kiss. ^_^

I also received a yuletide treat, which is also more than just lovely and not only made my day when I got it, but every day I read it again. thejennabides wrote Bring On The Wonder for me - a Natsume Yuujinchou Natsume/Tanuma first time fic. It is exactly what I was looking for since I finished the first season of Natsume, and paired with her writing style which I adore, it is simply perfect. ♥ Thank you, Muskrit, for writing this for me, thank you so very much! *snoogles*

So, a couple of weeks ago (when I still had time for this :P), kedriaa and I thought it would be fun to try and write something together. So we did. And had a lot of fun. *grins* Aaaaand this is one of the results. It was kind of an experiment and one of our first attempts at writing together (really writing together as opposed to plotting together and one of us *coughKedriaacough* writing it). So, while it is far from perfect as we're still getting used to this kind of writing, we quite liked it and found it cute enough to post it. ^_^

I suddenly felt the need to keep all my writing in once place, and since FF.net doesn't allow nc-17 rated stories and my archive up to now at Dryerspace won't be updated anymore, I decided to create a writing journal.

Shades of Color

is where I will keep my stuff now, be it fic, ficlet, or bits and pieces. I'm still going to post here, maybe just with a link, though. I havent' decided on that yet.

For now, I've just transferred all (I think I got all of it, or at least I hope so) the things I've written. I'll do a link and tag list later when I've got more time.

I also thought that if I get back into drawing, I might turn it into some sort of creative journal with both writing and art. heh. Wishful thinking...

Anyway, time to get ready to go out. *grins*
