Again, better late than never.... (seems to turn into a theme for me...^^;)

I am full of squee over my

yuletide gift. Sexybee wrote No Such Thing as a Three Car Race for me. I've read it numerous times already and it's fantastic. She couldn't have done anything more perfect. ^___^

It's Initial D, Keisuke POV with Ryousuke/Takumi leading to Ryousuke/Takumi/Keisuke. It shows wonderfully how Keisuke becomes first infatuated with his brother, then with Takumi and finally with the both of them. I think she manages to capture Keisuke's personality perfectly, but it's also the little details she puts in that make this fic so very lovely. And, of course, there's a resolution and a happy ending, too. *beams and sighs happily*

I, on the other hand, wrote Shounen Onmyouji fic - Dreamscape, and although it was the first time writing for that fandom, I had much fun doing so and I'm quite happy with the result. ^_^

It feels like I'm dreaming a lot lately, but it's probably only because I wake up and actually /remember/ the dreams, or at least parts of them.

I also don't think my dream got the way they look quite right. *cough* But I /knew/ it was them, you know, in the way that you know things like that in dreams.
Unfortunately I don't remember much else about the dream. Just that we were down at the river side at one point, sitting on a couple of rocks and chatting. ^^; Don't ask me what my brother was doing in that merry round, either.

Dreams are just weird. Mine usually are, anyway. ^^; Hello, subconscious, how are you doing today?

First of all, a big THANK YOU to everyone for the birthday wishes and presents. I feel so spoiled. ^_^; ♥

I had a wonderful and happy weekend, with my family and friends and lots of food and fun. ^____^ And today was a continuation of the goodness with sleeping in, brunch, cake, and concert (Bach's Mass in h minor).

Uni starts again tomorrow, and I have an appointment at 11am, so I should probably go to bed. *blinks sleepily* Night night...

..and home for the moment... or better, for the next hour or so. Then I'm off again to visit a friend who spontaneously invited me to spend one or two nights at her place. She's going to be working in France from April to November, so I really want to use the opportunity to spend time with her.

I had an absolutely great weekend with two friends I met in Japan and who are very, very dear to me. We had so much fun and it made me really happy to be able to show them a tiny bit of the country I live in and love and take them to places that are important to me. You know everything is perfect when two of your guy friends talk about other women but still manage to make you feel special and treasured. *grins* I'll try and get a few pictures online when I get back.

It was also an entire weekend of speaking Japanese, and I realized how much I miss it and also how much I still have to learn. >.<.
However, on the same topic, I got also great news this week. *beams* I passed the Japanese proficiency test I took last December. ^_______^ So happy. I honestly didn't expect to pass but now I'm happy all the more that I did. I didn't get a very good score, but I passed and that is all that counts at the moment. ^^;

On the anime front: I finally finished Harukanaru Toki no Naka de. I was a bit surprised that I was fine with the ending as it was since I had heard things about it that made me uneasy. No real problem there, though. I just wish that more people would write fanfic for this series with its vast potential with so many things left open, and at least 10 dead gorgeous men! *laughs* So many possible combinations.... And with that pleasant thought I leave once again, but I'll be back soon.

Test is over... I don't think I did all that well ( I had to guess on more than half of the questions), but I'm just relieved it's over now. ^^; I can forget about it till March/April anyway, 'cause that's when we'll get the test results. *shrugs* If I don't pass I'll just retake it next year.

I got home all right yesterday night, surprisingly for once without ANY problem concerning my luggage or flight. Amazing, isn't it? *snerk*

I slept in today, then had breakfast with my mom. Later we went into town to get pictures done for my application for the Japanese language proficiency test and to pick up some other stuff.
We came back and since it was nice and sunny out, we had lunch in our back yard... ah, life is good. So much green and flowers and it smells so good. *beams*

I realized that I am really happy to be back although I do already miss my friends like crazy...so it's kind of bittersweet. It helps a lot that there is a fall festival in my home town this weekend, so everything is decorated and pretty.
I spent most of tonight helping with my scout group who also has a part in the festival. We put up a huge tent and a tower. Tomorrow I'm gonna be standing in the kitchen there and make fries and steak and stuff...hehe. Lots of fun ahead!

Oh, and I talked to

iniq on the phone today! The sweetheart called me to see if I got home ok. *loves on her madly*

*yawns* Now I need to go to bed and try to avoid getting jetlagged...I've been fine so far, and I do hope it stays that way...

So, classes have definitely started. I'm not sure whether I'm happy with them or not. I guess they're ok. ^^; time will tell.
One good thing, though. The way it looks now, I'm going to have Tuesdays and Thursdays off, with Wednesday and Friday packed with classes. It's probably a good thing, especially once summer fully kicks in, as walking up the hill to the university is going to be a pain in the ass. ^^; Yes, I'm lazy. :P
