( update in which I attempt to briefly cover iniq's visit, work, a trip to japan, yuletide, and some recent highlights )

christmas.... just as the weather's turned a bit more christmassy (read cold with the occasional dust of snow ^^;), I'm also making progress with presents and cards, so this is the last call for signing up. The post in question is >>>HERE<<<. ^___^

on the same note, it's also time to say THANK YOU... ^__^

1) to whimsy_chan for the lovely christmas card. It's the first one that's arrived, so it's very special. ^_^ *smoooooch* thank you, Lady!

2) to kedriaa. there are no words to describe my surprise and happiness, and just how much it means to me. he's absolutely adorable! ^_______________________^ thank you so much! *snugsnug* ♥♥ *makes the puppets dance and dances with them*

and now... definitely time for bed. *sleeeeeepy*

Oh man, it just keeps snowing and snowing and snowing... there's about a foot of snow outside my window, and it doesn't look like it's gonna stop any time soon.

so, that update last night didn't happen...obviously. :P

There was so much I wanted to do last night, really, and NONE of it happened. ^^;

I came home from school, made and ate dinner, puttered around the kitchen for a bit and then decided I needed a hot bath. took said bath, put on my jammies and called the boy, as promised earlier.

Embarassingly enough, I had to cut that phonecall short after a while because I was too tired to talk which made the conversation somewhat...difficult. *sweatdrop* He just laughed and told me to go to bed. ♥

Not quite ready to give up the fight, I tried to watch one episode of Tytania, but had to quit after about 10 minutes as I nearly fell asleep with the laptop still on my bed. So I put everything away, turned off the lights and went to sleep.

That was all before 10pm.

Week from Hell is halfway done, but I've got only one final left tomorrow. I had 2 exams on Monday and one yesterday, plus a presentation last night. Everything went reasonably well, I think, so that's quite a relief.

I'm a bit afraid of the one tomorrow, though. >.<. The lady who held the course made such a mess of things, it's not even funny. No one knows what's going on, exactly, and we haven't got a book to rely on, just her script, which is made of ppt slides that show looooooooots of pictures but rarely any explanations. *SIGH*

Oh well, it will be over soon enough.

Also, nee_chan, I sent the Christmas presents for everyone to your parents' place (in one package), so please hand them out to the others when the package gets there? Also, this is A Mission! I'm not sure if it's gonna be there in time for Christmas, but I'm pretty sure it'll make it before New Years, so you are responsible that everyone gets his or her present while we still have the year 2008! :P

And since I haven't posted anything fangirlish in so long: I'm totally and utterly in love with the current Naruto opening (Closer) and the Bleach ending (Hitohira no hanabira) ♥♥♥!

I'm also very much looking forward to catching up with anime things - the only shows I'm up to date with are Skip Beat and Bleach. ^^,

I'm looking for someone who would be willing to beta my yuletide fic for grammar and general formal things on the 20th. I'll probably finish it sometime late on the 19th or early 20th (my time!). Upload deadline is 9:00 pm Eastern US time, so it would have to be before that. ^^;

Only half a day to go and then I'm FREE for the rest of the year. Where work is concerned, that is. I have homework and a presentation to prepare. Oh well. Right now, Christmassy excitement prevails. ﾐ☆ ♪ ♪

Well well....

Test is over... I don't think I did all that well ( I had to guess on more than half of the questions), but I'm just relieved it's over now. ^^; I can forget about it till March/April anyway, 'cause that's when we'll get the test results. *shrugs* If I don't pass I'll just retake it next year.

On a happier note...*squee* Only 3 days left, iniq! I can't wait to see you! ^________^ And Nee-Nee? Only 17 days! You know, being to able see you too so soon makes me so very happy. *beams*

But until then...o.O not sure how I'll get everything done. I have uni every day, plus I'm working more hours than usual, which means I'm hardly ever home. And my room looks like a disaster area. >.<.! I'm lucky I can still see the floor...in some places...*snerk*

I also need the rest of my Christmas mailing done as soon as possible. ^^; The Japanese test kinda put a stop to my well organized plan. -.- And now I'm behind on things. As every year. >_> Oh well....
