Yes, yes, I'm back. I'm still at my parents' house, but I'm planning on going back to Bern tonight.
The last two weeks were so much fun, I don't even know where to start. *snoodles
iniq* You are beyond great, you know that?
*smug grin* I got her hooked on Kyou Kara Maou... and had my little part in dragging her into the HP fandom.
I might upload some pictures once I get home. ^__^ It was such a pretty scenerey!
Now, among other things...*grins* ... I also had time to write a little. So, here are two more drabbles from that challenge so long ago....^_^"

"Every time I visit you guys, I discover new ways to strain muscles I didn't know existed." Duo's groaned complaint evokes an amused chuckle from the woman who is deftly kneading the muscles in his back, soothing the pain in his sore body.
He suppresses another moan as he turns his head and glares at her. "It's not funny, Cathy."
This time she laughs outright at him and shakes her head. "It's entirely your fault, Duo, for having to prove you can match Trowa every single time you visit. You know he has a lot more practice and experience."
He mumbles something unintelligible and relaxes under her skillful hands as she easily chats away about life at the circus. Maybe too easily. The next time he turns, he isn't glaring, but his eyes are full of concern. "What's wrong, Cathy?"
Her smile is strained and doesn't reach her eyes. "Nothing. What should be wrong?"
He buries his head in his arms again, but his voice is clearly audible. "Liar."
Her hands stop and her face falls, but he can't see it. He doesn't have to. Patiently, he waits, and finally she speaks, her words a mere whisper. "Trowa isn't happy here anymore. He wants to be with Quatre. But he thinks that he can't leave me alone, that he has to stay with me because he's my only family."
"Isn't he right?"
"No!...Yes, no, I mean, I don't know..."
He looks at her again, but she averts her eyes. "I would miss him terribly. But above everything, I want him to be happy. I'll manage somehow."
"Have you told him that?"
She shakes her head.
"You should."
There's a long silence. Finally, she faces him. Her eyes are moist, but determined, and she nods. "I will."
He smiles at her warmly, and her breath catches.

He's lazily leaning against a pole at the entrance of the main tent, watching her and waiting for her to notice. When she finally does, she stops dead, then hurries over to greet him, her eyes shining. "Duo!"
"Hello, Cathy, how are you?"
She smiles. "Not too bad."
"Where's Trowa?"
The happiness vanishes in an instant and her jaw sets in a firm line. "He's gone."
She sounds lost, but seems determined to hide it. He quietly embraces her, and she gratefully leans into him for a moment.
When she pulls away, both their smiles are back in place, hers a little sad, his concerned. Then he breaks into a grin and saunters over to the board, taking Trowa's place. "Need a new practice target?"
He winks at her, and her breath catches.

She doesn't open her eyes as he flops down beside her onto the grass. She knows it's him. "When did you get here?"
"A couple of minutes ago. Joe said you were out here."
"I see."
Comfortable silence stretches between them. It is Duo who breaks it.
"I visited Trowa and Quatre last week."
He hears the smile in her voice as she answers. "Did you now..."
He smiles as well. "They're happy."
"I know."
They fall silent again.
"Duo..."
"Yeah?"
"Why do you keep coming back, even though Trowa has been gone for over a year?"
She has to wait a long time for his answer. Suddenly, he rolls over and bends over her, his face only inches away. He looks into her now open eyes; his voice is deep and quiet, if a little rough. "I thought you knew."
She looks up at him, and her breath catches. "Then stay."
He kisses her.
"I will."

Quatre could feel her undressing him with her eyes, her gaze like a touch. Groaning inwardly, he took in the pile of documents on his desk still waiting to be signed. Today.
Willing himself to ignore the blatant stare, he took another contract, reading through it quickly but carefully before putting down his signature in bold letters. One done, plenty to go.
She was still there, hovering. But he knew that telling her to leave wouldn't do any good. She'd simply ignore it. He really didn't know why he put up with her attitude. 'Because she's smart and witty,' a tiny voice whispered in the back of his head. ' Because she's got guts. Because she's a challenge. Because she's sexy. Because she's beautiful. Because you love her.'
Wearily, he pushed his bangs out of his face. Okay, yes, he loved her. But right now, she was driving him crazy. How was he supposed to ever get his work done with her lasciviously draped over one of the chairs in the opposite corner of his office, playing with strands of her hair, running her fingers lazily along her throat to her full breasts, trailing them over her flat stomach and down between her legs...
Quatre let out a strangled moan and crossed his legs. Damn her. Grabbing the next few documents, he viciously slammed them down on the table, briefly scanning the contents and signing them at a furious pace.
Suddenly he stopped and smirked. Why was he letting her get to him? His smirk widened. If she wanted to play, so could he. He looked up and caught her eyes. Then, deliberately slowly, he reached for the document on top of the pile. He dropped his gaze and began to read. He felt her eyes boring into him, and he could imagine the annoyed look on her face rather well. A quiet chuckle rumbled through his chest.
Looking up at her quickly, he deftly put his signature on the paper and reached for the next one, all the while playing with the pen in his hand, caressing it slowly. He glanced at the contract before him and barely suppressed a sigh. How many more would it take...?
This time he signed the document without looking up. However, just as he was about to put it on the pile, it was ripped from his hands and thrown somewhere on his desk. A firm weight plopped into his lap accompanied by the swish of long blond hair. He merely raised his eyebrows at the furious blue eyes glaring at him, and shook his head. "Tsk, tsk. Miss Catalonia. How impatient. That was a rather important document. I hope you didn't tear it. It would be quite difficult to get a new one."
Dorothy snorted and tore the pen from Quatre's hand. Drawing it teasingly down his throat, she purred, a hint of annoyance still lingering in her voice. "More important than me? I'm hurt." She broke into a leer that belied her words. "What was it anyway?"
"Oh, just a contract over the funding of an entire new colony." Quatre said dryly, as if he were talking about grocery shopping. Then he added with a gentle smile. "There has been an empty spot in the L5 cluster for quite some time now."
For a second, Dorothy's face softened, and she kissed Quatre tenderly. "I guess it's true. The pen is mightier than the sword." With that her smile turned predatory again, and she reached down to give Quatre's hard length a deft squeeze. "But not nearly as amusing."
All right, taking off now. Have to go visit the scout camp where my brother is. They are waiting for me.
