something more of an update...

So. I started to watch Initial D. *_*
Yes, yes, I know I'm years late. :P Sue me.
I've actually had one of the movies for a long time. And I loved it. I always wanted to download and watch the series, but for some reason I never did. Huh.

toxictattoo's recent search for an Initial D fic beta reminded me of it, and so I finally started downloading it. And watching it. OMG Can't stop.
It's not like I don't have other anime to watch at the moment. And I do love a lot of the shows I'm currently watching. I'm in love with Seirei no Moribito for example, and Bleach has owned me for a long time now.
BUT. There hasn't been a show that had me this excited in a long time. Every episode has me glued to the screen, my heart beats faster during the races and I'm actually nervous as if it was me in there. *laughs* And the characters are so much love. Takumi ♥! Keisuke ♥! Ryousuke ♥! Although I do have the frequent urge to slap Itsuki *rolls eyes*. Dork.
I do suspect that it's not only the racing that excites me (I have to admit that I very rarely watch real car races on tv), but it's the combination of the characters and the races, the fact that you get to see their actions and emotions during and around the races. Guh.
It's also funny how old school the drawing style is. It amuses me. Heh.
I would marathon this series if I had the time. Seriously. I'm completely hooked. XD

I'm working full time at the moment, so I'm not home much. I'm taking advantage ofbelina's generosity and staying with her most nights during the week. There's so much construction around the trainstation in Bern at the moment that it takes me at least 2 hours to get to work. One way. >.<. I'll have to endure it tomorrow and Tuesday, though, since I have choir practice tomorrow night. *sigh* I'm glad it's only last and this week. And another 3 weeks in August. Oh well.

I had a weak moment and caved in and started to read Anita Blake Vampire Hunter.
I really, really should listen to myself. I knew what would happen if I started reading this series. I knew there were 15 volumes so far. I freaking knew I would need more and more and...more.
I just started vol. 4 and the next 4 are on their way to me. *flat look* I so don't have time for this. But it's so good.
That's it. The day needs more hours. A lot more hours. Please? Pretty please? *whimper*
